PATTI AARONSON                                                                     

“I've been increasingly drawn to the abstract style of painting, although I would describe many of my paintings as "realism with a surreal take”

Patti is an artist living on Maryland's Eastern Shore and in Baltimore, Maryland. She works on her large canvasses in her studio near Cambridge. For the most part Patti is self-taught, but she has sporadically taken art courses throughout her life, including at the Delaplaine Arts Center and Maryland Institute College of Art.

Patti was a health-care professional until four years ago, and since then she has been able to focus more on painting and art. She has worked with various mediums over the years but has always come back to oil painting as her true love.

When not painting, Patti loves to restore and renovate houses. She enjoys landscaping and spending time with her dogs on the Choptank River. You can find more of Patti's work on her website paaronsonart.com.
